The expected salary range for this position is $40-$70 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Overview



Sr. UX Designer . This is a Contract role in Lisle, IL .



What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience) - Individual Contributor role with someone who has data project portfolios working with building tables inputs and dashboards related to data and show this in your resume.

• Expert-level Figma skills, including:
  • Advanced component system usage
  • Efficient prototyping
  • Advanced vector work
  • Deep organizational skills within Figma files

• Experience working with a Design System
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and provide fresh solutions.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in team settings.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to clarify expectations and meet deadlines reliably.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders in working sessions and workshops.
• Proactive approach in seeking information from SMEs and development teams.
• A portfolio demonstrating problem-solving, collaboration, and design expertise.

• Experience in Transportation Sales or Logistics industry.
• Ability to facilitate design discussions and workshops.
• Enthusiastic and approachable personality with a user-first mindset.

• Lead UX Design Efforts: Own the UX design process, creating and refining user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.
• User Advocacy: Make space for and advocate for user needs through usability testing, research, and empathy-driven design.
• Design System Management: Ensure consistency and scalability by utilizing and contributing to the design system.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align business goals and user needs.
• Iterative Problem-Solving: Tackle complex, undefined projects by synthesizing multiple inputs and feedback into cohesive design solutions.
• Facilitation & Presentation: Drive alignment through design facilitation and effective presentations to stakeholders.
• Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior designers, providing insights and onboarding support for new team members.
