Legally Rooted Law is a well-established law firm specializing in family law, dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal representation. We are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal to join our team and support our attorneys in handling complex family law cases.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, and domestic violence matters.
• Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
• Manage case files, maintain accurate documentation, and track court deadlines.
• Coordinate and file legal documents with courts, ensuring compliance with court procedures.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and experts in a professional and confidential manner.
• Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and case strategies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in family law.
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and court requirements.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, Westlaw) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle sensitive client matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Paralegal certification or equivalent experience preferred.
