Your Mission:
As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations and ensuring seamless inventory management. You'll work closely with our Supply Chain Manager, utilizing your skills in logistics, inventory control, negotiation, and warehouse management to streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate Shipments: Arrange transportation with providers to ensure timely and accurate movement of shipments.
Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and guide them to the appropriate channels.
Ensure Accuracy: Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
Handle Special Shipments: Make special shipping arrangements as needed.
Track and Resolve Issues: Monitor shipments and correct any shipping errors.
Manage Finances: Prepare bills and invoices and manage distribution and shipment budgets.
Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all services meet the required standards.
Improve Efficiency: Develop processes to enhance supply chain efficiency and organization.
Monitor Operations: Oversee operational aspects of the Ocean & Air Department.
Maintain Compliance: Ensure daily import operations adhere to client standards, procedures, and instructions.
Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, and service providers (shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, etc.).
What You'll Bring:
Experience: 2+ years of logistics experience (preferred).
Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with the CargoWise system (highly desirable).
Import/Export Experience: Experience in Ocean and Air Import/Export (an advantage).
Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Quick critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service and client relations skills.
Teamwork Skills: Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressurized environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computers, software, and other technology for inventory and communication.
MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office programs.
Organizational Skills: Self-driven, detail-oriented, and excellent organizational skills.
Multitasking Skills: Ability to multitask effectively.
What We Offer:
Competitive Compensation: $45,000 to $60,000 per year, based on experience.
