What You'll Do:
Coordinate Shipments: Work with transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of shipments.
Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and direct clients to the appropriate resources.
Ensure Accuracy: Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy.
Arrange Special Shipments: Coordinate special shipping arrangements as needed.
Resolve Shipping Issues: Track and correct shipping errors.
Manage Finances: Prepare bills and invoices and manage distribution and shipment budgets.
Maintain Quality: Ensure that all services meet required standards.
Improve Processes: Develop and implement processes to enhance supply chain efficiency and organization.
Oversee Ocean & Air Operations: Monitor the operational aspects of the Ocean & Air Department.
Ensure Compliance: Ensure daily import operations are performed according to established procedures and instructions.
Build Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, clients, service providers, and partners, including shipping lines, airlines, and trucking companies.
What You'll Bring:
2+ years of experience is preferred.
Knowledge of CargoWise system is highly desirable.
Experience in Ocean Import/Export and Air Import/Export is a plus.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional customer service and client relations skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively and work well in a team.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Self-driven and detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
