Job Description

We are hiring for the important job of LPN Intake / Scheduler supporting both Medicare and our Private Duty business lines working at our Corporate Office location in Clearwater M-F (this is NOT a remote position). This position is an integral part of our company's success serving the vulnerable members of our community. As an LPN Intake / Scheduler, you will be responsible for new client intakes, scheduling private duty shifts and Medicare visits in accordance with physician orders. You will participate in the recruiting and hiring activities, assign personnel to shifts and visits, ensure compliance with order frequencies, and match caregivers to our clients. You may participate in the on call rotation with your other team members. Additional Responsibilities:

  • Receives and coordinates home care referrals and/or staffing requests
  • Assigns qualified and competent personnel to the case
  • Ensures orders are timely and filing is current
  • Supports agency recruitment efforts to include interviewing, hiring and orienting field staff
  • Upholds agency values and supports our mission statement
  • Adhers to Medicare and Florida ACHA home health rules and regulations
  • All other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse with Florida license in good standing.
  • Minimum two years of experience scheduling at private duty home care agency with Medicaid LTC / VA / Private payer sources. Experience with Medicare visit scheduling is a requirement.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Florida ACHA home health rules and regulations.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive upbeat attitude.
  • Experience with home health agency software programs and EVV mobile AP solutions.
