Electrical & Instrumentation (E/I) Engineer

Pay Rate** :

$86,800-$120,100

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

• Provide active leadership in delivering excellent safety results. Safety Certification in IP system required.

• Work with operations and maintenance teams to implement strategic maintenance initiatives that support achievement of reliability objectives, key performance metrics, and maintenance cost objectives and capital projects execution.

• Drive continuous improvement logic tree analysis andRCFA.

• RCFA facilitation by leading a group to quickly and thoroughly identify and solve latentcauses.

• Responsible for ensuring projects are compliant with NFPA 70E safetyrequirements.

• Responsible for all aspects of asset management for Electrical Power Distribution (EPD) equipment, including but not limited to:

• Emergency Power Supplies (UPSSystems)

• UtilityTie

• SwitchgearTransformers

• Power Cable FeederSystems

• Station and UPSBatteries

• Grounding

• Power SystemStudies

• Drawings

• Responsible for all aspects of asset management for Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) equipment, including but not limited to:

• Low Voltage AC Drive Systems (AB PowerFlex, SiemensSinamics)

• Actively participate in monthly IP EPD, Motors and Drives best practicecalls.

• Maintains current gap analysis against OMS requirements (EPD andMotors)

• Provide EPD outage support for Maysvillemill.

• Provides electrical and instrumentation (E&I) design support to the maintenance department and capital engineering department.

• Support factory acceptance testing of EPD equipment, Drives andMotors.

• Provides technical assistance and advice as necessary to aid in troubleshooting complex issues in manufacturing processes.

• Responsible for management of mill infrared and ultrasonic inspections and corrective action planning of power distribution equipment.

• Responsible for maintaining 5-year Capital plan for EPD equipment, Drives andMotors.

The Skills You Will Bring:

• B.S. Engineering - Electrical Preferred

• Five (5) Years Manufacturing Experience, Papermill Experience Preferable

• Safety Focus - IP Safety Leadership Certification

• Engineering experience in manufacturing operations, process control, capital projects, drives and motors.

• Demonstrated Leadership experience
