Summary

DLA Piper’s eDiscovery and Information Management group is seeking a skilled eDiscovery attorney to join its team. This position is not on the partnership track. This position will require knowledge and experience with all aspects of the EDRM, and a willingness and interest to gain further experience in each of those aspects. Ideal candidates will be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and have excellent communication skills. The firm is seeking candidates who are high performing and committed to excellence. Candidates must be admitted to Bar in the state they are practicing. The candidate can be located in any state where DLA Piper has an office.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for eDiscovery work on complex litigation matters
  • Supervise and coordinate project execution to meet project timelines, budgets and standards
  • Draft and negotiate discovery related protocols, orders and agreements
  • Serve as point of contact with DLA case team, including partners, and/or client regarding eDiscovery project execution, implementation and status
  • Coordinate with case teams, clients and vendors on identification and collection of client data
  • Create accurate budgets/estimates for review projects, as well as monthly revenue forecasting and monthly invoice review
  • Create and manage document review workflows, including QC process
  • Oversee preparation of document productions
  • Provide guidance and training to review attorneys to sustain and improve work product and performance
  • Create and maintain the DLA positive team environment

Minimum Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.M.


Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.

Minimum Years Of Experience

  • 3-5 years' experience (in-house, law firm, government, etc.) working in eDiscovery

Physical Demands

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Pay Transparency

The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $150,000-$260,000 per year depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
