SAIC is seeking a Data Scientist to join our team in Fort Moore, Georgia. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Development of a data collection management plan DCMP to support simulation experiment (SIMEXp) planning and execution
• Engage in analytical preparations for SIMEXp planning conferences, including the Initial, Mid, and Final conferences
• Master battle lab technologies and tactics to inform data collection
• Facilitate data reduction and analysis through coordination with data scientists
• Apply statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to validate the reduced SIMEXp data
• Participate in the drafting of Initial Insights and Final Reports with the project officer, ensuring timely and effective reporting of SIMEXp results

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree. 

Qualifications:

• Basic statistical knowledge (ANOVA, T-testing, Tukey testing, etc.)
• Strong Excel skills to include experience with pivot tables and basic visualization functions
• Intermediate skills with descriptive and prescriptive analytics
• Strong academic writing experience and basic understanding of the peer review process
• Proficiency with Microsoft products

Clearance :

Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; Minimum of an Interim Secret clearance required to start.
