This position will support the overall Finance department with a particular emphasis on product costing, inventory valuation, and compliance with Government contracting rules and regulations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly perform daily, weekly and monthly reporting of specific KPI's and financials, primarily around manufacturing variances and product margins.
• Provide value added analysis to Controller, Operations, Sales, and Program Management to help make sound business decisions.
• Ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuations, and inventory reporting, including oversight and establishment of periodic standard revisions.
• Act as the leading advocate for material and labor variance mitigation.
• Lead the analysis of manufacturing burden absorbed vs. cost incurred.
• Subject matter expert on the accounting requirements for Government procurement, including FAR and CAS standards and compliance with TINA.
• Lead support of all Cost or Pricing Data audits and preparing submittals of required documentation.
• Calculate financial impact of insourcing, outsourcing and work being transferred between facilities.
• Significant Ad Hoc reporting and analysis

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Prior Cost Accounting experience working for a manufacturing company which utilizes standard costing.
• 3+ years of work experience in related fields with experience in Government Contracting preferred.
• Flexibility in work schedules and task assignments.
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, large ERP systems; experience with DBA a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A team player with good communication skills.
