Job Description

Job Title: Cost Accountant
(3 Years Minimum Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activities, including raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
• Analyze and record data to provide detailed cost insights.
• Evaluate changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services to determine their cost impacts.
• Compare actual manufacturing costs to standard costs and prepare periodic reports.
• Record cost information to assist in controlling expenditures.
• Conduct cost audits and prepare detailed reports on findings.
• Compile cost data for operating budget preparation.
• Estimate costs for new and proposed products or services.
• Recommend cost efficiencies and improvements in new product layouts.
• Provide management with reports that compare and analyze factors affecting product and service prices and profitability.
• Develop and implement cost accounting systems to optimize financial tracking.
• Appraise and evaluate real property or equipment for sale, acquisition, or tax purposes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance (required).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cost Accounting (required).
• Strong analytical skills to assess manufacturing and operational costs.
• Ability to provide actionable recommendations for cost efficiencies and profitability improvements.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Regular attendance, punctuality, and ability to work on-site as needed.
